food sources:

Ontario food terminal, Ontario meat vendors, and Rose Reisman Catering approved vendors, all nut and tree nut-free.

food preparation:

Food is prepared from scratch in the Rose Reisman Catering state-of-the-art 10,000 square foot kitchen.

allergy considerations:

Nut and tree nut free facility, gluten and dairy free choices available daily. Rose Reisman Kids Lunch Program can accommodate other allergies – if allergy form is submitted and outlined.

Rose Reisman Catering makes every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies. Every effort is made to instruct our food production staff on the severity of food allergies. In addition, we label items with possible allergen-containing ingredients; however, there is always a risk of contamination. There is also a possibility that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change the formulation at any time, without notice. Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk. Rose Reisman Catering will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items one may come in contact with while eating from Rose Reisman Catering

menu options:

  • 15 different meal options per day

portion sizes:

Regular and large size portions available. Regular size feeds majority of children.

lunch service and packaging:

Students enter lunch room to find their meals placed by class and child’s name. All hot meals are delivered in thermal heat bags and all cold meals/sides are delivered in individual cooler bags for students. The meals are then assembled by a Rose Reisman Catering representative and are individually packaged in recyclable containers that are taken back to our facility for recycling if requested.

placing orders:

Orders can be placed up to 24 hours in advance of the day you would like the lunch, with orders placed only online. Each school has a separate password and a menu can be accommodated to meet school preferences. No checks or cash are accepted.


School chooses commitment of how many days service will be provided. Rose Reisman Kids Lunch Program allows for maximum flexibility. Can opt in and out throughout the year. Can change order options up to 24 hours in advance.


Two sizes are available and prices range between $4.50-$7.25 (plus tax), including raw vegetables or fruit.

cancellation for absences:

Will take cancellations for any reason 24 hours in advance.

fundraising component:

Offers prize donations for Fun Fairs. Rose Reisman is available for speaking engagements upon request.

our facility:

  • Our professional facility includes a 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art kitchen that runs 24 hours a day with the help of over 60 trained kitchen employees.
  • We offer 75 different meal options weekly, as well as accommodating children with dietary restrictions. There’s something for every child.
  • With over 10 vehicles on the road, our distribution capacity allows us to deal quickly with any unforeseen circumstances.
